The Alvantia offices are dressing up in red to celebrate their seventeenth Christmas and end a year full of challenges for the company. A 2020 in which we have had to adapt to a new normality and improve ourselves to ensure that everything goes well. This is a brief summary of what this year has brought us…
Due to the circumstances marked by the Covid-19, Alvantia has had to adapt to a new reality, in which we have had to change the offline for the online and assume new challenges that have been unexpected.
In March, during the beginning of the pandemic, we shared news in our Blog about Covid-19 and trade financing: ¨ How can trade financing help in the Coronavirus crisis? ¨ in which we conveyed our vision of the situation and context we were experiencing from an economic and financial point of view.
Also, we share motivating messages, such as the blog entry on ¨Everything will be fine¨ in which our CEO, Roberto Gutierrez Bezanilla shared some very emotional words with us.
In July we published an article for the World Factoring Yearbook – Publication of BCR in association with FCI, called ¨The importance of SCF in times of crisis¨ an article dedicated mainly to reflect on the products, services and tools that can best help small and medium enterprises to move forward.
In September we attended the online event of the 11th International Congress of the Polish Factoring Association. This congress is one of the most important events in the calendar of factoring and finance professionals in Poland. This year, due to the circumstances of the Covid-19, we had to attend via online.
As this year we have not been able to celebrate our traditional Christmas lunch, the employees of Alvantia have shared a moment through a ¨Online Toast¨ in which we have all felt a little closer in these difficult times.
Once again, we have celebrated Children’s Day, but this time online, through a video call to interact with the little ones. In it, the children were the protagonists, they showed us their Christmas and told us those things they were going to ask the kings.
We have ended this year collaborating more than ever with solidarity causes, such as the initiative of ¨Reyes Magos de Verdad¨, making it possible for many children and elderly people at risk of social exclusion to have a present at Christmas. In addition, we have also collaborated in the collection of food to help this group not go hungry in these difficult times.
In this way, we are concluding 2020 and giving way strongly to 2021, a year in which we hope that the situation will improve and we can continue to move forward together towards the future. From Alvantia we wish you happy holidays through this electronic christmas that we have made with a lot of love.
Happy Christmas!
