On 24 and 25 January, for the fourth consecutive year, Alvantia took part in the Supply Chain Finance Summit meeting held at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam, bringing together the leading companies in the Reverse Factoring sector. The event, organised by BCR Publishing, had an ambitious programme focused on the latest trends in the SCF industry.
In this fourth edition of the Supply Chain Finance Summit, a deep analysis of the future of technology applied to Reverse Factoring systems. In addition, the growing importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the sector was addressed, with special emphasis on those operating in emerging markets.
Recognised professionals from different sectors involved in Reverse Factoring (banking, technology, consulting, auditing, etc.) gave interesting lectures at this event, which is now compulsory, which Alvantia attended as a “Gold Sponsor”.
José Antonio Garrote, Alvantia’s Business Manager, collaborated on a paper in which he analysed the advantages that Machine Learning systems (technology whose objective is to equip computers with learning capacity through the programming of highly intelligent algorithms) can provide in terms of increasing efficiency, improving the supplier’s experience, optimising resources and reducing the cost for financial institutions.
The fourth edition of the SCFS was an incredible meeting point to discover the latest developments and exchange opinions with professionals from the sector’s main companies.
