• The launch of this platform completes the implementation of the bank’s new Confirming system, a project developed over the last two years
• The application, which is multi-enterprise, multi-currency and totally integrated into Liberbank’s systems, incorporates every commercial function and digitises physical transactions
On 16 August, Liberbank launched its portal for Confirming suppliers, a platform developed by Alvantia that allows suppliers, whether bank clients or not, to check and find out the status of their invoices without the need for prior registration. The solution also offers the possibility of providing documents so suppliers can register with the portal, thereby reducing office workloads and hard-copy transactions.
Once registered, suppliers will be able to request advance payments through the website, consult the terms and conditions under such invoices may be paid in advance, change payment accounts, open new payment accounts and request automatic advance payments. These operational functions will also be available, through online banking, for suppliers that are clients of the bank.
The portal has been developed with Java technology and is integrated with API service-orientated architecture. To meet the latest web-design standards, the portal is “responsive” and totally adaptable to any device (PC, tablet and even smartphone).
By taking this step, Alvantia has finalised its implementation of the new Liberbank Confirming solution, which it developed in its entirety over the last two years. The system incorporates all the functions that an application of this kind requires, such as Prompt Payment, Distribution, Buy-back and Roll-over, and enables multi-enterprise transactions to be carried out and in multiple currencies, through its integration with foreign-currency payment systems.
Alvantia has developed an application that is totally integrated into Liberbank’s systems, which handles transactions ranging from product procurement and customisation to communications and managing payment defaults. For the Intranet’s user interface, the consultancy has used Liberbank’s novel flexible financial terminal, based on Angular, technology which Alvantia specialises in.
Moreover, all transactions hosted in the bank’s previous systems, both in Liberbank and in Banco de Castilla-La Mancha, have also been migrated under the project.
The Confirming system developed for Liberbank joins the Factoring application already delivered by Alvantia in 2015, extending the range of services that the bank provides to enterprises and putting the bank at the forefront of Spanish current-asset financing entities.
