The Alvantia offices are dressing up in red to celebrate their sixteenth Christmas and close a very successful year for the company. During 2019 we have faced up to new challenges and continued with others that are now deeply ingrained in our DNA. This is a brief summary of what this year had in store for us.
We started by participating in the 4th edition of the Supply Chain Finance Summit event in Amsterdam, which included an in-depth analysis on the future of technology applied to Confirming systems.
A couple of months later we travelled to Lisbon to collaborate in the 5th EU Factoring and Commercial Finance Summit, a key event of the Factoring industry and one in which we participate as a Gold Sponsor.
In April we participated in the 2nd South Campus Forum on Employment, Innovation and Technology Transfer held at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), where we had the chance to get to know some of the interesting students with different concerns and who are eager to enter the job market.
Among many other projects, in September we implemented our commercial financing platform in Finalbion, a company that has strengthened its disruptive business model with the most innovative technological solution on the market.
In September we also travelled to Mexico where we took part in the eleventh Annual Convention of the Mexican Factoring Association (AMEFAC). Alvantia demonstrated its capacity to generate disruptive innovation, both at functional as well as digital level, in the Mexican market, where it has been present for over four years.
In November, for the fourth year running, Alvantia held its now traditional Working Breakfast with the Spanish Factoring Association (AEF). It is an informative event whose main goal is contributing to developing the Factoring and Confirming industry. The event was attended by representatives from practically all AEF financial entities, as well as other companies from the commercial financing sector.
As is customary at this time of the year in Alvantia , we celebrated our Christmas Lunch and took part in the Companies Race, where we were represented by the most sporting of our employees, who achieved a magnificent score.
We also held our annual Children’s Day once again so that the smallest members of the household could visit our offices and join in all the fun activities in a festive atmosphere, filling our offices with all the joy of Christmas.
To close the year we decided to collaborate with some important charitable causes; we participated in the Gil Gayarre Association Christmas market and we joined the project Los Reyes Magos de Verdad (The Real Three Wise Men), a charity that distributes presents to many children in need and at risk of social exclusion.
On this note we come to the end of 2019 and step into 2020, a year in which we expect to face new challenges and continue improving on the previous year. Seasons Greetings from all of us at Alvantia via this electronic Christmas card that we have prepared especially for you.
Happy Christmas!
